Baby Invitation

OMG!  OMG! Third post, unbelieveable! Can you believe it? I can't.  Anyways, back in August I was I was asked to create an invitation for our nephew.  The theme was "Prince/Knight". So I search online to see what was out there and realized that I could create it myself. I downloaded all the fonts and this is what I came out.

The invitations was printed and this is how it came out! I loved how it came out!

Thankful Mini Album / Back to Basic Layout

Two post in one week, wow! You realize this mean I will not post until next year, because I am definitely not consistent, which is a fault of mind, that I plan on changing next year.  I am really organized at work and other areas, but blogging, and crafting are just really difficult for me.  I definitely want to be more consistent 2014.

Moving on, here is a project I pick up from mysisterscrapper on youtube.  I love it, so I decided to create it using the Echo Park line Reflections Harvest.  I think it came out pretty darn cute!  I had some leftover stickers so I decided to create a two-page layout. I went "back to basics" on my layout. I think it came out pretty good based on leftover items.  So don't ever toss the scraps you have!

The line used for this project was the Reflections (ep) Lori Whitlock Harvest.

Thank you again for stopping by! Take care and see you soon!

Chit Chat / Family Memory Album

OMG!! It's been just a long time. Crazy busy schedule, work, family, and other projects, but for the next three months, life we definitely be even more hectic.  I am hosting my first "Thanksgiving Dinner" with family, and I have to admit I am terrified.  The pressure is definitely "on".

I need to start on invitations for Thanksgiving and Cookie Exchange. Christmas gifts that I am making need to work their way into my schedule and other things as well.  OMG!! OMG!! How will I get everything done!

Okay, enough of that, you may not know this, but I was a Stampin Up Demonstrator about 2 years ago and I loved it.  It was very hard for me to keep the business going with a full time job and so many demonstrators in my area, that I could not compete.  So I gave it up, sadly!  I did on the other hand learned techniques and had the opportunity to do projects that other demonstrator shared thru the demonstrator website at Stampin Up.

Below is one of the projects that I did a long time ago that I learned how to do from another demonstrator.  I changed it up a little bit, by adding three more flip pages so I can add more pictures.  This is such a versatile album you can do any theme you want (Baby, Christmas, Halloween, etc.).

The paper line used for this project is Teresa Collins Memorabilia.

Thank you again for stopping by!  Take care everyone and see you soon.

Storage Closet Organization

So I have been on an organizing kick since last September.  Let me tell you, it's still a work in progress.  I started off with my kitchen, and I am slowing moving room to room. Our house does not have a lot of storage so I had to come up with an idea to make this work.  What I have found that works for me, if I purchase something new something old must leave, that way I don't create an overflow, if you know what I mean.  It has definitely been a challenge for me.

My inspiration came from Organizedjen and iHeart Organizing. OMG! Both of these ladies are so AMAZING when it comes to organizing.  Love love love them! Make sure to visit their blogs for inspiration and lots of good information on products they love as well.

Okay, so here is the final storage closet done.  I had everything everywhere, it was crazy! Now I have room to grow and I am super excited.   The plastic containers are from the Container Store (my favorite store of all time).

Below are the different size storage boxes that are sold at the Container Store.

So happy that is done, moving on to the next project which is the Laundry Room. This is going to be a challenge for me.  I will make sure to take before and after pictures on this project.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and staying cool!  Until next time! Take care.

Polish - Haul

So I have been into polishes lately and I have to say, this can be very addicting.  In the last month I have purchased about 10 to 12 polishes, this is not normal for me.  In the past I have always had acrylic nails, so manicures was not part of my routine. About a year ago I decided to take off my acrylics and my nails were a MESS! They were really really terrible.  My nails were paper thin. They were peeling and would not grow.

I turned to youtube for help and found some amazing products that worked. I ended up purchasing most of the products that were recommended, which by the way, helped me tremendously. I am definitely a believer in these products. It's been about a year and a couple of months, and I am happy to report that my nails are doing so much better, about 80% better. Woo hoo!

List of products I used and still using:

1. Nail Envy (OPI)
2. Crystal Nail File
3. Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover (love it)
4. Lemon Flutter (Lush)
6. Hand Food Lotion (Sephora) love love love this lotion
7. Calcium Oil (no brand name)

And now for the polish haul:

OPI Nail Polish

Gouda Gouda Two Shoes, Aphrodites pink Nightie, Pink Yet Lavender

Zoya Nail Polish

Julie, Yana, Neely

Sinful Colors Nail Polish

Soul Mate, Secret Admirer, Cinderella

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

Breezy Blue, Blue It, Strobe Light, Mint Sorbet

Hope you enjoyed my polish haul, can't wait to use them.  Until next time, bye now!

Baby Invitation

Hello Friends:

I thought I would be posting a lot more, but I can't seem to get into the groove.  I am going to definitely give it a shot this month.  Lets see how well I do.  Lots happening, been organizing like crazy.  I am doing one room at a time, so I don't get burned out, so far so good. I am hoping to post some pictures soon.

The reason for this post is to show you guys the invitation that a family member asked me to do.  I think it came out pretty cool.  The party is for a baby boy turning 1 and it is a "knight and princess" theme party.

The family has a "family crest", so I was happy to use it on the invitation. It really goes great with the theme.

The invitation was created in Photoshop Elements. The invitation measures 4 1/4 x 11. This will be rolled up and tied with a ribbon.  I think that is the plan. I will definitely post the final look.

Hope you are all have a great summer so far, mine has been super hot and I am hoping it cools down a bit soon!

Until next time, bye now!

It's Been A LONG Time!

Hi Everyone:

Well, I must confess I did not keep any of my new year's resolutions at ALL! This sucks! Let's see if I can do better in the next six months.  I think I have decided to post about other things besides crafting.  My craft room serves as my office, craft room, wrapping station, reading, etc.  So I think I will be posting a little bit about everything.  We will see how that goes!

Okay, here is one of the projects that I finished last week.  It is a mini travel album, this idea came from Club Scrap Kit I got back in 2008 and from Stampin Up! Demonstrator Patty Bennett.  I love this album, it is simple and quick to do.

Here is the final product:

 Front and Back Cover
 Pages 1 thru 4
 Pages 5 thru 8
Pages 9 and 10

Here is the list of products used to make this project:

And finally three (3) cd envelopes (which were purchased on uline.com).  I do apologize but the cd envelopes are no longer available.

I hope everyone is doing well and hope to be back soon with more posts!!! Take care of everyone!

All About Love "Mini" Album

Okay, here it is! The "mini" version of yesterday's album.  I really really love this one.  I didn't want to create a "Valentine" album at all. I wanted to create something versatile that can be used for "husband and wife", "mother and daughter", "friendship", etc.  I think it worked.

The album measures about 3 3/4 x 6 1/4, it is definitely a "mini".  I used the small paper bags found at Michaels "Celebration" brand.  The paper line is Authenique "Devoted". Flowers used are I Am Roses and ribbon is from Stampin' Up!

It's Friday, I hope everyone has a FABULOUS weekend. I get to go scrap with my girlfriends tonight!  Take care everyone and see you soon!

All About Love Album

So I re-created this album that I saw on youtube from "mysistersscrapper" using the binding method from Laura (followingthepapertrail) and I absolutely love it.

It was very time consumming at first but once you do this album one time, you can repeat it again and again very easily. This definitely takes a LOT of paper, but it is definitely worth every penny.  I really enjoyed making this album. You will create more than one of these for SURE.

I created a "mini" version, that I absolutely love how it came out.  Now you know what my other post will be about tomorrow. :)

I used two paper lines to complete this album (Carta Bella and Stampin' Up).  Paper bags from Michaels the "Celebration" pack.

One down, one more to go!  Take care of everyone and see you soon!

2013 CHA-Anaheim Recap

I know it's been a while since my last post, and I do apologize for that, I've had a lot going on these past months and hoping to catch my breath and relax soon.

Last month I attended CHA-Anaheim and I must say it wasn't as exciting as the previous shows. There wasn't really anything that stood out to me. I was so looking forward to some new products to try out. Wait, take that back the WeR Memory Envelope tool looked pretty awesome!

I did like the Teresa Collins lines/stamps, Graphic 45, AE Studio Stamps, Lawn Fawn Stamps, and of course some Tim Holtz.  Definitely going to be adding these products to my collection.

For those of you who are doing Project Life and haven't had the pleasure of being introduced to AE Studio Monthly Stamps subscription, this is definitely a MUST have to your PL album.  I absolutely love love these stamps, besides the fact that, they go great with PL and are also great for card making and scrapbook layouts.

Enough talking now, below are some of the pictures that I took along the way. I do apologize if some of the pictures are not clear, my hand was shakey that day.

                                                                        Bo Bunny

Lillybee Design

                                                                   Tim Holtz

 Teresa Collins

Simple Stories

Authentique

My Mind's Eye

Well I think that wraps it up for now.  I took over 300 hundred pictures and because my hand was so shakey most of them came out blurry.

I hope everyone is having a great week because the weather here in California should be beautiful upto the weekend.

Take care of everyone!
