Hi Everyone:

I hope everyone is doing well. Now that I am almost done with all the baby showers, I can get some of my projects done!  I plan on displaying this Halloween (home decor) project on my mantle.  I think what I going to do is keep it on the "BOO" side and then next year I can display both sides, because I am sure I will have Halloween pictures by then developed (LOL).  I still need to finish the hinge on this project.

Baby Shower Favors

Hi Everyone:

I have been SUPER busy with 3 parties (baby showers) mostly banners.  Below is a picture of the baby favors I did for my boss.  Baby bottles filled with pink and brown "whoppers" and some baggies as well. The theme of her party was "baby cowgirl".  I wasn't suppose to do the favors, just a banner, until I got notice on Monday that I was, couldn't say no.  So this is what I came up with "last minute".  Sorry for the first picture, came out blurry.

I had fun making these.  I have to say the M & M were so expensive, $15.99 a pound.  I bought 2 boxes of strawberry whoppers and 2 boxes of chocolate whoppers for a total $6.00, now that is a deal.

Hope everyone is staying cool with the heatwave we got going.  I am hoping this will stop soon!!! Until next time be happy and healthy!!!!

Quick Card

Hi Everyone:

Well my boss came to me this week and asked me to make her a quick card for her grand-daughter's birthday, which of course I said "no problem".  I have been SUPER busy at work so time just flew by, and I completely forgot.  She came to me on Thursday and said where is my card, of course, I told her I would have it done Friday, which lucky for me it was.  I haven't been feeling well all week, so I search for pre-made base cards and found one.  Just needed to add a little hear and there.

You can totally see where my promarkers bleed using the Neenah cardstock.  I really hate that.  I like to stay within the lines LOL!!!
Until next time, be happy and healthy!!!! Have a great holiday weekend!!

Back Pack Mini Album

Hi Everyone!

Well it is probably back to school week for most of your children!! How exciting! About a year ago or so, I had seen two videos on creating a mini back pack for school (paperphenomenon, and sunnystampin), I really wanted to do it, but had trouble with the binding portion.  Well after numerous examples, I pretty much ended up doing Laura's from "followingthepapertrail" binding idea "genius".  I think it is the best, and I love it.  So here are some pictures of the back pack.  Thank you Ladies on youtube for this wonderful idea!!!

I think the only thing I would do is change the belt portion to ribbon, the material I used was really bulky.

Until next time stay happy and healthy enjoy!!!

Baby Shower Invitation - Photoshop Elements

Hi Everyone:

Another short and sweet post today. So I have been playing with Photoshop Elements for about a week, trying to come up with an invitation for my bosses baby shower. The theme is little cowgirl, so cute.  I purchased the clipart online, I believe it was from an etsy store. Bridal Shower Game (Craft Wars)

Hi Everyone:

I hope everyone is enjoying the Olympics.  This is definitely one of my favorite pass times, when it's on.  I really get into it.  My neighbors think I'm a CRAZY girl.  This pass Friday was Kim's Bridal Shower at our favorite store Treasured Memories. The theme was scrapbooking, of course! I decided to bring Craft Wars to the Bridal Shower and it was FUN.  They had to create a dress they would be wearing to the Wedding, with the supplies provided (tissue, ribbon, foil, flowers and mesh).  Here is what they came up with:

Win of the Craft Wars - she made a necklace and a two-tone bow in the back.
(Sorry for the bad picture)

Tag (LuvLeeScrappin) & Flowers

Hey Now:

Third post this week!!!! Are you amazed, because I am.  So let me give you the background first on the latest crave.  Last November, we were EXTREMELY slow at work and I started searching for 'shabby chic projects".  I have always loved the look as well as the use of colors (pinks, mint greens, light blues, etc. I have always been intimidated to create a shabby chic/vintage project.

While searching I found 5 ladies that do an AMAZING job on shabby chic/vintage projects.  Here are the links to their blogs and youtube channel names:

Arlene - Butterfly Kisses Designs - youtube channel name: mybutterflykisses12
Bona -  Keep On Scrappin - youtube channel name: livelovescrap
Juliana - I Luv Vintage Scrap - youtube channel name: ILuvVintageScrap
Leanne - Luv Lee Scrappin - youtube channel name: luvleescrappin
Leonie - My Passion for Paper - youtube channel name: MyPassionForPaper

I am pretty sure most of you already follow them, but wanted to provide the information just in case.

I know there are probably more craftanistas out there that create this type of projects, but these are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES, love love love them!  I am really starting to sound like a stalker, not good! LOL!

So Leanne from Luvleescrappin did an auction of her projects and I won the TAG, I was super happy and seriously doing a Happy Dance.  Her work is AMAZING, I love it.

I received my package yesterday and below are some pictures for you to see.  All I can say is OMG the pictures DO NOT due it justice.  It is SOOOO BEAUTIFUL.  I love it, so much I actualy cried.  I know... I know, but I did.

Front of the Tag! Wow!

Look at the Dress Form she created a skirt out of ribbon, a belt out of ribbon and pearl trim, and the necklace kills me. Double WOW!!

The hand mirror OMG!! Such details!!

The flowers (beautiful) and I believe she paint the bottom lace brown, it came out fabulous!

And of course the back is finished beautifully!

Please go and check out her work on her blog as well as her youtube videos, super talented!

I must confess, because of Leanne and Leonie, I was inspired to do the flowers below, and I have to say it was fun! I am so happy with the results.  Thank you Leanne and Leonie for sharing and teaching us how do create this beautiful flowers.

I added sticklers to it (saw it on one Leonie's videos)

You basically go from pedals to a beautiful flower!

My next project will be creating my own box pleaded ribbon!  Wish me luck!

Please check out Leanne's and Leonie's videos on how to create your own box pleaded ribbon.

Until next time!!! Be happy and healthy!
